Careflex Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
CareFlex operated by Level Finance Pty Ltd provides flexible healthcare financing solutions that enable employees to access medical procedures and repay over time through payroll deductions. By applying for or using the CareFlex service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
2. Service Description
CareFlex partners with employers and healthcare providers to facilitate access to private healthcare services without requiring upfront payment. Employees pay for their procedure in monthly instalments, with repayments collected via payroll over 2 to 12 months.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible for CareFlex, you must:

Be employed by a partner employer offering the CareFlex benefit.

Complete the eligibility application and provide requested documentation (e.g. payslip, ID).

Be verified for affordability and payroll deduction approval.
4. Payment Terms

A once-off upfront instalment may be required to activate your plan.

The remaining balance will be split into equal instalments over 2 to 12 months, depending on the selected term.

Plans of 3 months or less carry no interest; longer plans will include a small service fee disclosed upfront.

Repayments will be deducted directly from your salary.
5. Admin Fee
A once-off administration fee is charged per approved procedure. This will be clearly disclosed prior to activation and included in your repayment schedule.
6. Refunds and Cancellations

You may cancel the procedure within 5 days of paying the initial instalment or prior to the confirmed procedure date (whichever comes first).

Refunds are subject to a 5% cancellation fee and will be processed within 14 business days.

After the procedure has taken place, no cancellations or refunds will be permitted.
7. Data Privacy and Protection
CareFlex collects and processes only the minimum personal and financial information necessary to determine eligibility, facilitate payment, and deliver services.
We are committed to full compliance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), including:

Secure storage and encryption of personal data

Transparency in data usage

Breach notification within 72 hours, if applicable
8. Use of Third Parties
We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers (such as healthcare providers, payroll administrators, or credit verification services) only for the purpose of delivering the CareFlex service. Your data will not be sold or used for unrelated purposes.
9. Verification and Consent
By applying to CareFlex, you consent to verification checks (including affordability and employment status). These checks are necessary to confirm your eligibility and protect all parties involved. Failure to consent may result in declined access to the service.
10. Modifications to Terms
CareFlex reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. Updated versions will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately unless stated otherwise.
